"We're just excited to be releasing a Politicks record that was made by Politicks and really represents who we are right now." says guitarist Mike Trella. "Paint it in Color" is the first Politicks album mostly engineered and produced by Politicks." Specifically, 7 of the 10 songs were recorded at Mike Trella's home studio and were mixed by Mix Magazine writer and producer Julian McBrowne (Pharrell, Teddy Riley) in Vermont. The group also recorded a couple of the songs (Paint it in Color and Wait til the Morning) at Blue Miller's studio (guitarist for India Arie) in Nashville with producer Greg Archilla (SafetySuit, Buckcherry).

whats with the last track

i love this band, and know matt green personally. they have such a unique sound and make GREAT music. but im wondering why there are 2 songs on one track, i would like to know the name of the second song on A' Little Somthin....i had no idea what was going on the first couple of times i litsened to it....

Great Cd

This CD offers something new to the listeners, while still being familiar to the long listening fans. I have been listening to Politicks for close to 9 years and now I feel that their music is just as important in my life as it was then. As I was browsing through the songs my 18 month old son was dancing to them and enjoying them as much as his daddy. I feel that he is going to grow up being a fan. Thats one more thing for me and him to bond with as he grows up. I will never stop being a fan.
