Artist Biography

Mixing dirty honky-tonk and southern rock with elements of down home bluegrass and raucous roadhouse blues, Dallas Moore has developed a nationwide grass-roots following as a modern icon of Outlaw Country Music. Stewed and brewed in the honky-tonks, motorcycle rallies and concert halls of America, Dallas and his band The Snatch Wranglers have kept up a relentless tour schedule for several years now averaging 300 dates a year supporting the royal heirarchy of Outlaw Country and Southern Rock. Sharing the bill with like-minded legends, David Allan Coe, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd as well as modern day keepers of the outlaw flame, Shooter Jennings and white hot country duo Montgomery Gentry, as well as their own sold out shows has honed Dallas and his band to be one of the best live acts onstage in the good ol' USA on any given night. With the 2008 release of "Tales From A Road King", Dallas Moore broke major new ground when three cuts, "Hank To Thank", "As Good As It Gets" and most notably, "King of Bullshit Mountain" recieved heavy airplay on SIRIUS and XM Satellite Radio's Outlaw Country Channels respectively. The airplay from satellite radio broadened the bands horizons extensively as they found a whole new world of fans starving for their brand of whiskey soaked, fist pumpin', guitar squallin' live music at it's best. 2009 brings the release of Dallas' seventh CD "Can't Tame A Wildcat" on SOL Records (www.solrecords.com). Pairing with old friend and musical partner in crime Brian DeBruler to self produce "Wildcat", Dallas and the band have finally captured the intensity and vibe of their now legendary live shows in a studio setting. "This is the CD I've always wanted to make in my head and we finally got it right this time. It's really got it's own soul and instantly identifies our band, music and way of life with the listener. We've never been more excited and satisfied with a recording project than now. It feels like everything has really come together" says Moore. The New Year also brings the debut of Dallas hosting his own TV Show "Motorcycles, Music, and Mayhem" for LIVE2RIDETV.COM, America's first online television station for the motorcycle lifestyle. Recent interviews and features include Shooter Jennings, David Allan Coe, Devon Allman, B.A.R. Customs Hotrods and Motorcycles and lots more. Look for Dallas' show on the "Bars And Bands Channel" at LIVE2RIDETV.COM. In addition to extensive play on SIRIUS and XM Satellite Radio, and his own online television show, Dallas Moore has also garnered additional national attention with 2 songs, "Bad Checks" and "Every sad Song on The Jukebox", written and performed for the major motion picture "Nice Guys Sleep Alone" starring Vanessa Marcil and Morgan Fairchild. The band has also made several live national television appearances including The Travel Channel Documentary "Sturgis: The Great Ride Volume One" and the Broken Spoke "Journeys Series", which aired on the FOX Network, Discovery Channel and Speedvision. In May of 2008, Dallas and crew also showed on up performing live on ESPN2 and Fox Sports Net in front of 64,000 screaming fans there to witness Robbie Knieval's record breaking jump over 24 Coke Zero trucks. Collectively, Dallas and band his band members, Bob Rutherford on bass, Chuck Morpurgo on guitar, Rocky Parnell on drums, Miss Heather on vocals and percussion and Mike Owens on harmonica, have recieved an unprecedented 12 CAMMY Awards from the Cincinnati Enquirer including Best Country Band, Best Country Vocalist, Best Country Instrumentalist (Chuck Morpurgo), Songwriter of the Year (Dallas Moore) and album of the year for Live - Back At The Saddle as well as 3 CEA's (Cincinnati Entertainment Awards) and The Horizon Award for the Southern Music Hall of Fame published by Gritz Magazine. 2008 also had the band honored in the BEST OF CINCINNATI issue of CityBeat Magazine. In early 2009, Dallas Moore and the Snatch Wranglers were also honored by CULAN at the Modern Music Masters Summit at the 20th Century Theater.
