Alain Le Lait is a French native who moved to the United States in the late 70s and currently lives in Colorado. His latest release, Espadrilles, is a cd of French accoustic songs that mix the feel of old standards with that of gypsy jazz music.

A musician since he was a teenager, the Singer/Songwriter founded his own label, Yadeeda.com, in 1990. Often heard on Sesame Street, Alain’s song 'Sit Down' is one of several that have been used in children’s music and education. Others include 'En Voici, En Voila' featured on Putumayo World Music’s upcoming release European Playground (May 09). His other CDs are Soyons Amis, C’est Si Bon, It’s So Good, Parapluie, and Zoey and the Yok-Yok Man.
