Mark is a lover of melodies and classic singers such as Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson, Luther Vandross, Lionel Richie and Peabo Bryson. In addition to writing and performing his own original songs, he sings regularly with two different a cappella groups that feature songs from the 'American Songbook', from classic 40's ballads, to 50's doo wop and contemporary pop standards.
He also produces and co-hosts 'Indie Encounters' for the Pasadena Community Network. The show is cable-cast and web-cast weekly and features interviews and performances by independent poets, writers, film makers and musicians
