Steve Jacobson, jazz guitarist, composer and educator, lives and works in the Chicago area. Parts Unknown, his debut album of original compositions, was recorded with the assistance of a grant received from the City of Chicago and the Illinois Arts Access Program. Pursuing courses in jazz guitar, theory and composition, Steve earned a Bachelor of Music from Cornish College of the Arts and a Master of Music from DePaul University. Currently he is adjunct faculty at Lewis University, Joliet Junior College, and Prairie State College
