This country and western traveling troupe has been criss-crossing the south for 20 years performing at fairs, festivals, colleges, weddings, and parties of all kinds. Even a nudist colony! (They did not perform naked). This high energy cowboy band combines cutting edge country and classic rock with a smooth traditional sound, utilizing pedal steel guitarist Greg Crook. The group is anchored by seasoned journeymen Joel Shipp and Russell Daniel on bass guitar and drums respectively. The mandolin, dobro, electric and acoustic guitars are highly accomplished by extraordinary guitarist Phil Coley. Watusi Rodeo has two capable lead singers in Phil and Joel but the focal point of the live shows is the charismatic, hat wearing front man Ric Christman. So break out the barbeque and beer! Throw out a couple of bales of hay and you've got one sho-nuff, good stuff, shuck down, hoe down!Looking for fans in all the wrong places!!!!
