Wow this is a really great CD! The guitar is outstanding! I have never heard such a beautiful combination of acoustic and tech combined. Quite a task! The electronica geeks overdo and the true acoustical genius doesn't know their way around a keyboard.........You my friend have mastered both! This will be in a movie, mark my words! Extra credit: Guitars, Programming, Production, Mood, Originality, and Best Potential Movie Soundtrack.

GREAT MUSICIANSHIP & LYRICALLY OUTSTANDING!
Indie soft rock with an edge. Inventive guitar and key sections. Great musicianship. The vocals drenched in reverb and the music synth melodic progressions bring to mind bands like Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, or the Cure. Lyrically outstanding. Lyrics and vocals are both a perfect fit for the music itself. This is great material with a good range of diversity and feel.

This work is superbly produced and arranged. Guitar work is unbelievable! Going from "tough" Merle Haggard twang electric to beautiful "Yes" acoustic. One of the most original and creative works I've heard yet on the internet. Should be played on every alternative station.
BIOGRAPHY:
Robert Farmer’s latest effort has been described as atmospheric, imaginative, and meaningful. Sometimes evoking forgotten moods in the listener, providing an enormous amount of musical imagery. Influenced by British Artists such as: Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, Robert Plant, and Mark Knopfler - and there you have it. Any questions?
Robert is a singer, songwriter and producer of all his own recordings that include "In A Dream", "The Search", and his latest release in 2007 "Seeing Red", and has worked with many top acts.
Robert has been voted among the TOP 2 ORIGINAL BANDS, TOP 2 SINGER/SONGWRITERS & TOP 3 DRUMMERS collectively in the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley reader's poll in Fine Times Magazine for three consecutive years. Most recently, his music has been featured on Music Forte.com & as Artist of the week in the area weekly magazine called “Merge Weekly Magazine”, and their corresponding website www.mergedigital.com.
Robert is also getting regular airplay on SongPlanet.com and has placed in the top of the charts both in rock & electronica categories on AmericanIdolUnderground. Getting up to a hundred listens a day on the popular myspace.com. Won many awards including Best Male Vocals, Most original, song of the day & song of the week as featured on www.garageband.com/artist/robertfarmer.
Lived and played in the Philadelphia, New York & Boston area for most of his career but has also hit the road for many years. Today he works in his own recording studio daily still pursuing his desire to not compromise his music.
Sought out the best teachers available, such as, Jim Chapin (Harry & Tom Chapins' father). Jim is a renowned drummer, author, and music educator in New York still turning up in various magazine publications. He continued his studies with Robert Boysie Lowry, a local icon and Mentor/Teacher for many jazz musicians, including legendary jazz trumpeter Clifford Brown, saxaphonist, Ernie Watts, as well as pianist Mathew Shipp. It was around this time Robert started working with Dexter Koonce (Boysie Lowry's nephew), Grover Washington Jr., Roy Ayers, Rufus Thomas, Denise Thomas & James Brown.
Although this is Robert's debut solo album its far from being his only project, with 2 more discs almost ready for release. He has logged session work with Lindsay Lee (Capitol Records/Warner Bros. Records) and received regional and national radio airplay with the original recording band called The Watson Brothers Band, as well as doing session work for Radio and TV.
Opened for Patti Smith at Penn's Landing, Philadelphia for thousands of people. This show was broadcast live on rock station WIOQ and hosted by the infamous Ed Sciacky. Because of the bands success he met many other high profile radio personalities such as Michael Tearson of WMMR, Mark Goodman host of MTV, Harvey(WIOQfm & WMGKfm), and also met, guitarist Nils Lofgren of Bruce Springsteen's Band to name a few. He opened for James Cotton at Widener University. The band was tight, inspired and kicking. James Cotton was pretty good too. They also opened at the 'Main Point' for Robert Hunter, songwriter for the Grateful Dead.
